I use those fiskars for getting inside the bud like you but I use the
fiskars short cut snips for the outside. I find they bring your hand closer
to the bud and gives you a better angle plus the way you hold them is less
work on your hands to open and close. hydrofarm makes a similar model but
    it’s junk compared to fiskars

I couldn’t imagine trimming a few pounds dry. Just so much more work.
Scissor hash is lower grade to many contaminates. Atleast i dont care for it

Don’t see where more contaminates would come from compared to chemical
extractions. Please explain. As far as too much work, I like meds to be of
    high quality.

Just a suggestion bro… try and grab and hold onto the stem when ur
trimmin buds like that… holding the bud like you are can crush the trich
heads. Checkout one you trim just touching the stem and one that you handle
under the scope… you will notice a difference in trich heads bro.

I just put an order in for some cheap ballast just to get started. But I’ll
    be documenting my build.

Nice looking harvest, quality! If you’d like to donate your trim I will
offer you some cash depending on how much you have…

I like to get my nutrient mixes documented for each strain, so I can get
the highest yield and quality. By surprise I’m doing pretty good with the
Blue Rhino. luckily I have a multi strain coming up and can compare notes
with the Blue Rhino cuts I have in that lineup. IN a couple of months I’ll
have more than enough room to run different lanes of strains that have the
    same nutrient regimen.

Oh i only make ice hash. I always get hairs and pieces of leaf in my
scissor hash. Ive trimmed that way before now i wet trim and do a dried
touch up. Im kinda suprised you still grow afghooey with the accses to ogs
    you have through medi.

  20. evergreenseattle206 says:

Man I wouldnt know where to start if I had that many strains going all at
once. Afghooey was just one of those strains I have always wanted and
found. I found out the hard way how nutrients can be so important. Like
when I switched to coco. I was ruining my plants by low doses of calmag. In
this grow of Afghooe, I learned how much extra these plants would need.
